raksha bandhan
Today (29th july 2010) is raksha bandhan mahotsav in our vidhyarthi shakha, where we tie ‘rakhi’s on each others hands, the ‘rakhi’ of protection, the ‘rakhi’ which will bind us toether, and the ‘rakhi’ which will remind us of the duties we have to this motherland and our brothers and sisters.
Lot has been said about protection and raksha, but the questions does arise why and who we should protect and from whom? Is it just a one day program or is it a life time duty ? following are my observations on these whys and hows ?
What do we mean by raksha bandhan ?
‘Raksha’ means protection, ‘bandhan’ means ‘knot’. By raksha bandhan we vow to protect each other whenever there is need for it. Here we tie ‘rakhi’ on each others hands as a token of this pledge.
Protection from whom ?
Today the hindu community as a whole is facing threats from many sides, islamic terrorism on one side and christian evangelists on the other. Both does their harm on hindu community taking advantage from our disorganised structure. Its high time that we the hindus unite for the welfare of our motherland, else the fall of hindus will lead to fall of this great nation. We are to unite not against anybody, but for welfare of ourselves, our nation and hence the world. So the protection is from anti Hindu aggression by political parties and religions.
How to protect ?
As I said earlier the main cause of attack on hindus is due to the disorganised structure. We are divided among many castes and languages, and the unity in diversity which existed was exploited by political parties for electrol gains. So by protection we mean to unite inspite of any differences we may have. All hindus of an area should have a brotherly/sisterly relations with each other, they should develop the confidence in each other so that they can contact each other when any problem arise.

As the tension grows in Kashmir, and when it seems that we are losing Kashmir from our hands, with sickular media always sympathizing with the so called ‘innocent stone pelters’ on one side , and also the fundamentalist seperatists who want to seperate Indias head, because its muslim majority region now on the other side, I decided to read and write about the most ignored and insulted refugees of the world who once lived in this beautiful heaven of bharat, but were forced to leave their homes because they did not want to change their religion, their culture and traditions, the following is the history of unfortunate hindu brothers, I request you all to read this,
I myself was not so much aware about this hindus,but after reading this from Wikipedia I got alarmed how successfully a hindu majority state was islamised , so what if they are successful in islamisation of india, where will the hindus go ? The fall of kashmiri hindus resulted in the fall of Kashmir into this state, and the fall of Hindus will result into fall of hindusthan, so hindus !!! its your responsibility now not to let our motherland fall.. Unless hindus rise and realize the threat rising all around us, I am sorry to say that it will be too late to protest and rethink when we face the reality of Islamic fundamentalism. So all hindus , muslims and Christians please do understand that you all were hindus once who were forced to switch into a foreign religion, please act accordingly for the cause of our own motherland..There are many examples how conversions will lead to partition of this countries. The Pakistan earlier was a hindu state and part of akhanda bharat, the islamisation of sindh area led to separation from Indian state. Pre-Islamic History
Kashmir’s association with Hinduism is very old. The very name Kashmir is said to be derived from Kashyapa, one of the seven Rishis in Hindu mythology. Most Kashmiri Pandits are devout Shaivites, however many Kashmiri Pandit families who had migrated into other Indian territories have been ardent Vaishnavites as well. Kashmir is home to some of the holiest shrines in Hinduism like Amarnath, Kheer Bhawani, Shrine of Sharada, Shankaracharya Mandir, Hari Parbat, and Zeethyar.
The religious philosophy of Kashmiri Hindus is rooted in Kashmir Shaivism, a school of Shiva philosophy that originated near Kailasha in Himalayas around 400 AD. The first teacher of this school was Tryambakaditya, a disciple of sage Durvasas. Sangamaditya, the sixteenth descendent in the line of Tryambakaditya, later settled in Kashmir valley around 800 AD. His fourth descendent, Somananda, extracted the principles of monistic Shiva philosophy from the scriptures and incorporated them in his own work, Shivadrishti, which is the first philosophical treatise on Kashmiri Shaivism. Later a galaxy of illumined sages, such as Vasugupta, Kallata, Utapaladeva, and Abinavagupta further refined this philosophy. The philosophy of Kashmiri Shaivism is generally called Trika Shastra, since it is a philosophy of the Triad: Shiva, Shakti, and Nara (the bound individual self). The literature of the Trika System of Kashmir comprises three categories: the Agama Shastra, the Spanda Shastra, and the Pratyabhijna Shastra.
Kashmiri Shaivism, also known as Pratyabhijna (meaning “recognition”) school of Shaivism, adopts a purely monistic metaphysical position. It considers the Supreme Lord, called Shiva or Maheshvara, as the Supreme Reality, which is innermost as well as transcendent. As a conscious and active principle, the individual self (atman) is identical with the Supreme Lord. Due to the influence of maya (ignorance) the individual self forgets its divine nature, becomes liable to limitation and bondage, and thinks itself to be different from the Supreme Lord. Thus one’s mukti (spiritual freedom) lies in one’s clear recognition (Pratyabhijna) of one’s identity with the Supreme Lord. In Kashmiri Shaivism we find a type of religious thought which synthesizes pluralism, dualism, and the Buddhist doctrine of Shunya, and develops a nondualist philosophy which is sweet, sublime and constructive. This philosophy is closer to the theism of the Bhagvad Gita than to its own nihilistic view of Buddhism.
Kashmiri Pandit scholars have made significant contributions to Indian thought and science[citation needed]. Abhinavagupta, Kalhana were stalwarts in the fields of philosophy and history respectively. Kashmir figures prominently in Sanskrit poet Kalidasa’s compositions.
Persecution by Islamic Rulers
During the period of Islamic rule of the Kashmir valley hundreds of Hindu and Buddhist temples in Kashmir were destroyed.As a result, Kashmiri Pandits gradually migrated to other parts of India to escape persecution. Many Kashmiri Pandits and Buddhists were converted which in time resulted in Kashmir becoming predominantly Muslim. The devastation wrought by Zulju, a Turkish general from Turkmenistan, in 1320, during his conquest of many regions of Kashmir Valley was especially noteworthy.[2]
Sultan Sikandar Butshikan (1389–1413), the seventh Muslim ruler in Kashmir, and the second Sultan of the Kashmiri Sayyid Dynasty, is known for his oppression of non-Muslim populations, which caused many Kashmiri Pandits to leave the Kashmir valley.[3] Historians call him an iconoclast or idol-breaker and he is said to have killed several thousand Kashmiri Pandits and/or forced them to convert to Islam or flee.[4] During the reign of Butshikan, Islam was firmly established in Kashmir and the Hindu population fell drastically. Sultan Ali Shah and others followed suit.[5] There have been a few Muslim rulers who were tolerant towards the Pandits, however they were not able to ultimately alleviate the plight of the Pandits. This can be ascertained from the fact that the Pandits never rose to their pre-Islamic glory and that their population in the valley continued to decrease over time and may change only with a Spanish type Reconquista[6] From the 14th century due to the growth of Islam and forced conversions into Islam[7][8] their numbers in the valley began to diminish and the Muslims by spreading Islam began to outnumber them. According to the oral history of Kashmiri Pandits, at one point, only eleven families of Pandits remained in the Valley. Walter Roper Lawrence, who visited Kashmir in 1889 as the British Land Settlement Commissioner, mentions this in his note on Kashmiri Pandits in his book ‘The Valley of Kashmir’.
Migration to the Indo-Gangetic Plain (1400-1900)
A large number of persecuted Kashmiri Pandit families were forced to migrate to the plains in the early fifteenth century during the reign of Sikandar Butshikan, and in the late sixteenth century during the reign of Aurangzeb. However, Mughal emperors before and after Aurangzeb invited Kashmiri Pandit scholars, who were fluent in Persian, Sanskrit, Avestan and several other classical languages, to their courts. Several princely states in northern and central India, such as Patiala, Jaipur, Jaisalmer, and Ratlam have had Kashmir Pandit prime ministers (dewans). The largest concentrations of Kashmiri Pandits were found in medieval urban centres such as Lahore, Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Ajmer, Jodhpur, Gwalior, Lucknow, Hardoi, Kanpur, and Allahabad. Most Kashmiri Pandit families that migrated to the plains before the twentieth century have a strong influence of the Muslim culture of Awadh in their language, and to some extent, in their food. These Urdu or Hindustani speaking families have traditionally been more tolerant to Muslims than the recent migrants because of their close association and cordial relations with the Muslim elite of northern India. Famous Urdu poets, such as Chakbast, were Kashmiri Pandits. A very large number of lawyers and administrators in British India belonged to Kashmiri Pandit families of the Indo-Gangetic Plain. The same families gained political importance through the Indian National Congress in Independent India. The first prime minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru and the third prime minister, Indira Gandhi, belonged to a Kashmiri Pandit family of Allahabad. Rajiv Gandhi, the seventh prime minister of India, was also half-Kashmiri Pandit. Therefore, the Government of India has been headed by persons belonging to Kashmiri Pandit families for 37 years, i.e. for more than half of the political life of the country after independence.
Terrorism and Exodus (1985-1995)
In late 1989 and early 1990, when the Kashmiri Muslims raised the banner of rebellion against Indian Government, the Kashmiri Pandit minority was targeted by Islamic fundamentalists and socially persecuted by a significant proportion of the Kashmiri Muslim population. This forced almost all of the remaining Kashmiri Pandit families to suddenly leave the Valley. These families intended to return to the Valley after restoration of normalcy. However, the socio-political situation in Kashmir continues to be volatile, with the displaced Kashmiri Pandits beginning to lose their cultural identity. The US Department of State reports that, according to the Indian National Human Rights Commission, the Kashmiri Pandit population in Jammu and Kashmir dropped from 15 percent in 1941 to 1 percent as of 2001..Kashmiri Pandit refugees living in camps near the North Indian cities of Jammu and Delhi have come up with the demand for a Panun Kashmir, a territory where they can reside without fear of persecution or human rights violations. A MORI survey found that within the Kashmir Valley, 92% respondents opposed the state of Kashmir being divided on the basis of religion or ethnicity. Due to the violent Islamic insurgency, Kashmiri Pandits have been murdered, 400,000 displaced. fundamentalists] This was condemned and labeled as ethnic cleansing in a 2006 resolution passed by the United States Congress.[15] In 2009 Oregon Legislative Assembly passed a resolution to recognize 14 September 2007, as Martyrs Day to acknowledge ethnic cleansing and campaigns of terror inflicted on non-Muslim minorities of Jammu and Kashmir by terrorists seeking to establish an Islamic state.[16] According to the CIA about 300,000 Kashmir Hindus (Pandits) from the Indian Administered Kashmir Valley are residing in the Jammu region of the state of Jammu and Kashmir (particularly in the refugee camps at Udhampur and Jammu), and another 100,000in Delhi, in refugee camps established by the Indian Government and the UN.

Most of the central schools force their students to speak in English. It’s a fact and more and more parents send their kids to such schools because they provide good quality education. For both of them they have their own justifications, parents say English education will secure the future of their children while the school management say it will add to the status of the school; but my question to both of them is like this : have we got freedom from the English speaking people who ruled and ruined our motherland?
First of all I should make it clear that I am not an anti English nor am a hard core mother tongue lover. I studied in a local school where I could speak my own mother tongue with my friends. As a respect to the state which I am living the interaction between us and our teachers was in regional language. Still my medium was in English, I studied physics and maths in English, wrote exams in English, and I had no problems with that. Though I am a bit weak in speaking English, otherwise I am not very bad in writing it. People could argue that if I studied in a ‘high standard’ school I could have spoken English very smoothly by now, but I would say if I were to chose between my mother and money I will certainly chose my mother, and my mother land and mother tongue is my mother herself.
So coming back to my topic, I am against imposing a foreign language on Indian students. Let them make students speak English during class hours, but if they are trying to monitor the interaction between the students and suppress their mother tongue, then the teachers and the school management are no worse than the terrorists. It is totally unacceptable when two kids who are neighbours from childhood , who played and talked in their own language, suddenly when they got admission in a ‘High Standard’ school are asked to forget their language which their mothers had taught them and switch to English. Why have we so degraded? Why do we still think English is superior ? Who has taught us this nonsense? Has Macaulay succeeded in making Indians lose their culture and slaves to the English.. its shocking to see even the central schools run by Indian government is also following the same policy!! English has got so much importance, I can not disagree because without English I could not have written this. I Respect the fact that English knowledge can not be compromised in this modern and global world, but is this way to do so ? is the insult and suppression of regional language a necessity to promote English ? if any language fail to coexist with a regional language, the problem is with the foreign language itself!! What is worse is some schools even give cruel punishments to kids who accidently speak their mother tongue..!! many cases of torture and suicides in thae name of discipline has become a fashion in various part of this country? Where are we heading to? Aren’t we spoiling the unique culture and languages of this motherland by not allowing our next generation to use it? Who is ruling India now ? is it the british government or their puppets? Why such an inferiority complex ? when the germans and Americans are doing research in Sanskrit and Other Indian languages on their effect and benefits , we are here trying to be slaves of the English ? what can be worse than this?
We might had a great past, but I am sorry to say that we were/ are the worst cowards and pessimistic group of people in this world.. look at the Chinese, the French,they all speak and study in their own languages. They transalate the English works in their language and make their students learn it, while we transalate our language in to English and make our kids study it? We lack the spirit, we lack spine, and hence we are the weakest.. lord macuallay might be laughing on how he could fool us so easily ??

the letter र is the first word of the divine name RAM (राम) , the lord Rama is worshipped by millions of this country and hence the first letter of the best name is going to become the symbol of new india ,, lets be happy that from now on whenever we think about money we will think of Rama which will make us more spiritual and srong
भारत contains the letter 'र' in the middle, if भा represents Dharma and त represents kama, then र represents Artha(money).. hence the symbol is perfect if we look it in that way. this will help us remind that the artha need protection of dharma and kama on both sides, ie money is not everything but its an intermediatory between our duties and our likes.
devanagiri,or sanskrit is the mother of all languages.. so the symbol which is a devanagiri letter deserves to be called an Indias own symbol.

(i am not mine, i am of this nation).. the word Rashtra contains the word 'र' and hence its dearer to me.. whenever we think of money, let the thought of nation come to our mind, which will make us use it for good purpose and for the development of our motherland.
so i hope all the रashtrabhakthas will accept the new symbol 'र' which is derived from our own culture and history and help our country reach more and more heights...

the question paper and hindu answer
Its very ironic that the students are supposed to answer the question put by a teacher who himself is ignorant of the subject. Yes i'm talking of the recent controversy surrounding the question paper and the cutted hand.The whole controversy started because of that unfortunate teacher who did not know where to put the FULL STOP , inverted commas and many other grammatical rules. The villian question is undoubtedly from a book written by a script writer who is also the follower of the ONLY god as the hand cutters, but the poor teacher did not know where to put the full stop. He did not know the boundaries he has to obey while living in a secular society which is too much religious. Even if he wanted to quote the script writer and introduce his works to his students, he should've put that controversial conversation in inverted commas, so that no one would've confusion to whose hand should be cut. So the ignorant teacher caused all the problems, and the confused peace lovers added to it.
The question paper row as far as i know, started a few months before, may be approximatly 40days before- that would mean the talibani court thought not twice but 40times about whether to cut the hand. Its worth praise that they took decision after so much thinking, and executed it. The teacher also had not got relief from the original indian court, he too was arrested and as usual got the bail and was roaming free. The democracy lovers did not like the criminal getting let off, took the law in their own hands and from the various sections of shariah law they cut the poor teachers hand.
A similar incident took place years ago, and continue still. The case is of an world famous artists who is loved for his anti india paintings. His paintings created a great controversy as he concentrated on the nudity of indian gods, and extended his imagination to the holy indian characters. Nobody went to cut the hand, not because we do not hate him, but because of various other reasons.We ofcourse did mess up the places where his painting exhibition held, and we burnt his effigis, though we had the anger to burn him.Not blaming our innocence, i would say the artist still continue his anti india work because he fled to a foreign country where the art is respected the most, especially when its anti india and hindu. So the fact remains that we did not cut any part of his body, yet our secular media blames us. They speak as if we have killed him , they want to hang each one of us who spoke against their pet artists. They want to bring him back even though he is reluctant to come back.An honourable minister of the most secular state of india wanted to honour him with some award, though he was unsuccessfull to do so because we were still alive..Why i have said this is to make it clear why we not sympathise with the insulted muslim. No muslim organisation or any fatwa machines condemn the artist who hurt the largest community in the land where they also live and cherish. Rather they saw our protest and defence against the artist (murderer of art) as an anti muslim, and projected it so. So let it be a tit for tat, we also decided not to speak against the insulters of islam.
Its getting proved again and again that name doesnt tell the character of individual, like my name ashok doesnt mean i'm never sad, islam may mean peace, but in practice its not so. The terrorists and fundamentalists have succesfully brainwashed the common muslim, its the ground picture if you deny it or not. Earlier i had thought islam stood for brotherhood, atleast among their community, but the events in pak and other lands proved me otherwise. Each friday sufi burn shias mosques and vice versa. But its worth fact that indian muslims are united, but i fear they are united for a bad cause.
No one wants another communal riot, but that doesn't mean we should remain defenceless. As the muslim fundamentalism is on the rise, its time for hindus to be aware of the fact, and irrespective of the politics and castes we should unite, not against the muslims , not against anyone, but for our own defence, for our own nation, for our only motherland..

Afzal and kasab can not jump the queue : says a responsible minister of the present indian government. If any non resident indian or non indian resident who doesnt know who these two guys r should not think that the queue the minister mentioned is not a queue to heaven but to a death rope..
Afzal guru , the LeT trained terrorist , who was the main conspirator of parliament attack abt 10 yrs ago , who was given punishment by supreme court of india about 8yrs ago, is still alive, too much alive, in the airconditioned jail..And the country still debates whether he should be killed or not.. What a pity?

Indian Football Dreams
Yes, argentina won 4-1 against korea. I was watching the match now. Not a foot ball fan though, the songs "Give me freedom .. " by k'naan and "waka waka" by shakira made me watch the beautiful sport this time. Cricket is too boring when we compare the spirit and emotions of football. The playground is always alive with the sounds of 'Vuvuzelas' and Fans...I really enjoy this sport.
The only thing which saddens me when i see the WC is the absence of a team INDIA,when the countries smaller than our smallest state plays very well, our country of hundred crore people fails repeatedly to enter the world cup. Why so ?Are we so lacking in spirit ? Or are we too weak to play the strong men games ? Or is it that we do not care about the game ? Whatever the reasons may be its disappointing when we are forced to be fans of another nation just because ours not in the game. If india were in the race, it would've got the support of millions and it would've boosted our energy than any other country. But how ? Whats the use of moral support if our people do not know how to play ?
Let Indian govt do a 10yr plan for the foot ball, ie in 2o2o , like dr kalam's mission, lets all prepare to be super power in all fronts including the football. Lets be a team which could go par with argentina or brazil. We have enough time to groom our lions- 10yrs! get a good coach, and train the team. Make sports a compulsory/important subject for academics,train the students for football when they are school. Inspire the keralites who are most crazy football fans, to be not just crazy, but to work for the team. Nothing is impossible friends, even if india get one player from each state, we can make a good team... Above all Let there be a sports ministry with a minister who is a sportsperson, not a politician, our good times will start when we does this. Each ministry of india shouldn't contain the politicians, but the experts of that field. Like a personality like sachin to be made a minister of sports, a retired army man the defence minister. Sport is not just a joke, it represents the strength of the country. Particularly football, a nation like ours who aspires to be developed like usa and japan and france, should be able to play what they are able to. Just economic, or military might doesn't call us developed.. Sport is not a joke, its a part of a nations growth..So lets all get our kids, our gen next who are going to live here after us love football, let them be lucky enough of shouting "GO INDIA Go" during fifa world cup finals..

I have read about Bhopal gas leak trajedy , once in a history text book during my school days, and now in newspapers and our media. It happened in 1984,in short a US company Union Carbide was sanctioned to work in bhopal, it was headed by a US man called Anderson, there was a leak in the plant, many lost their lives, even generation suffered, and is suffering even today. But the man responsible is missing even today, the questions asked were, who helped him escape ?
The justice delayed is justice denied is a good proverb. But after twenty six years here is a judgement, which gave TWO years punishment to those responsible for TWENTY THOUSAND deaths. They got bail within TWO hours, but the victims did not get the justice even after waiting TWENTY years. What a pity! Who is to blame for this? Indian judiciary? Or indian legislature? Or we ourselves?
All should know that Indian judiciary has very less powers, it can only act on the laws which the legislature do. The cjm (chief judicial magistrate) here can give the maximum of two years punishment according to his powers. So blaming judiciary is like accusing the helpless. So next fingers point to law makers, our dear politicians? Why should we blame them? Politicians are created by people, people elect them. So its better we blame ourselves. Blame the largest democracy for being crazy.
Rajiv gandhi, the then pm is no more, Arjun Singh the then cm is here, but is silent. Anderson, the union carbide chief is absconding. Media,is everywhere, but has many other agenda . The victims are in Bhopal. Haven’t we learnt another good proverb : procrastination is the thief of time, if the case was discussed within a few years after the tragedy this situation could have been avoided, rajivji was alive, arjun ji was young and active, media was no other agendas like it has today.I am sad to say india has become a place where any one can come, do anything and easily escape the place and can guarantee themselves that they will never be caught in their life time. Anderson also is one among the tourist who visited the heart of india and broke the very hearts of thousands of that place. The then govt of Madhya Pradesh priorities need to be probed thoroughly. How could Anderson escape so easily ? Who asked the piolet to take him away ? was the priority to save Anderson or the sons of the soil ? why so much delay in this case ? why india still not pressing for Anderson ? how dare we continue yet another deal with US when they do not help us catch the culprit who was responsible for all this? Who will answer all these questions ??
India is never going to get the answers unless the corrupt generation of polititians are thrown to dustbins. Be it bjp, be it congress, they have no agenda for the country, they have only plans how to fill their own pockets. Congress have a lot to answer , particularly the Nehru-gandhi family, most of the riots and scams happened when they were in power. Emergency, sikh riots, babri masjid, Bhopal tragedy, and many more and none of this issues have got the answers.
We will keep on writing like this, the victims always get punished like this, we do not lack answers, but we lack the courage to answer !!

Isreal and Palastene, i have never learnt the history of both these places, nor i am interested, but from recent political debates and news i thought i should discuss some thoughts about it here..

So it might be clear to you that what they will bark on isreal, common terms that we hear about isreal from the mouths of marxists is that they are A TERROR NATION, killers of POOR muslims. The tone will get shrill when election bells rings.
May be because i think just reverse of what these political parties think, or may be because i am a proud hindu nationalist (extremist, some call so) i've started to love isreali patriotism. Earlier this month, newspapers were full of anti isreali editorials, somewhere between the lines, i saw these words : " we will do anything for the protection of our citizens ". yugachethana and my dreams ...

Yesterday yugachethana of which am a member, organized a function to felicitate the students who passed the sslc and plus two. Today we have a meeting to discuss its next course of action and I decided to write on how I see yugachethana and what can it do to inspire young people to be patriotic and ever proud of the culture they belong to.
Yugachethana is an organization which started its existence in goshripuram (kochi) even before the oldest member of the present committee was born. Its an org which is inspired from rashtriya swayamsevak sangh (RSS) and its main mission is to reach the youngsters the idea of rss, essentially its hindutva and the unification of the HINDU community under the dwaja of PATRIOTISM. Yugachethana to be frank sufferd from the lack of working force at times but never buried itself in the tide of time, it exist today also with dreams of a young hindutva mission. Taking inspiration from the past, learning from the failures we had at times , using the modern technology I sincerely want this organization of ours to reach every youngsters who comes under its area of functioning.
I have read that veer savarkar, the nationalist and a great freedom fighter had called for a hinduisation of everything, politics, military etc.. Anything Indian is essentially hindu, believe every proud indian islam and Christian is a hindu. As far as we are concerned we should hinduise the student community as a whole. By hinduisation I mean making the students aware of their history, tradition and culture. We are the victims of the politics to be frank and the politics has interferd too much that what students are learning now is not history, but a twisted one which suits the interst of the powerful political parties. Politics has really been successful in dividing the hindu community in the basis of everything possible. Our aim is to re build a tree which has been cut down into pieces by this political selfish and greedy people. We have the logs of wood with each one of us and what we should do is to bring it all together and sail the mighty ocean called time. Let the mission start now. We all have been conducting various stage functions till now, my idea is to change this idea a little, what ultimately we want is to reach the students. If we go to them, or they come to us the connection is two way. We have a school managed by our temple here, lets talk with the management and start conducting competitions like essay writing, quiz competition, etc. the topics on essays and quizzes we should select which will make them learn about our history and national heros. We can even collaborate our working with the social science club or arts club of the school(s) and hence the frequency of getting connected with students can be increased. As the chief guest of yesterdays function sri ganeshji said quoting swami Vivekananda that how much educated a person is, and if the education and values he gained does not contribute to the growth of nation, then such an education is just creating traitors. So getting inspired from His words lets start the process : lets create the desh bhakthas.
We are not here for the mere existence of this organization of ours, in other words we should broaden our vision and should say we are here to ensure the existence of our age old traditions and values, we are the soldiers of this motherland, bharatmata. As the great nationalist poet sri bankim Chandra chatterji had said in our national song vande mataram, koti koti kanttha kalakalninada karale koti koti bujairdritha kara kara vale , we should realize each one of us are the one who always speak for the loving motherland of ours, and each one of us are the ones who have always have the swords to act against the anti nationals and anti hindus, we should not forget the duties we have to this great mother of ours and should act as she need our service during these tough times. I was very inspired after I read a veer savakar poem recently in which he said “anyone who try to shackle her , we shall defend her with our life”.
We have many organization which work for the cause of hindutva. But it should be remembered sangh is the inspiring force of all these organization. Sangh is a socio cultural organization started by Dr Hedgewar in 1925,now the largest ngo in the world, and the sangh cant be blamed for what other hindu groups do. Sangh will always carry on with their task of unifying hindus for building a akhanda hindu rashtra. Our organization yugachethana is a platform between the youth and the sangh, but why we need a buffer? Rss is the organization which was blamed in many contexts by various pseudo secular political parties because they saw the threat in rss unifying the hindu community. If hindu community as a whole unify as per dreams of rss, many polititians will lose their power and influenze. I can say without any hinderance that I also had misconceptions about rss before I attended its first ‘shaka’. But after I attended them I can say with pride that am one among the lakhs of swayamsevaks in this bharat. Sangh can not be understood by looking from outside, It should be seen from inside and if you have a patriotic blood in you, you cannot come outside. I remember talking to a ‘secular’ polititian and a good friend of mine once when he asked who is Bharatmata , I replied ”come to rss shaka once, u need not join it, sing the sangh prarthana with us, understand the meaning, and answer the question u asked to me yourself”. I hope one day he will try my suggestion and understand the sangh. So yugachethana should take the responsibility of clearing the dust of misconceptions people have with rss.
Sangh is known for the discipline it maintains, so we should imbibe these qualities from our mother organization. I request all its members to live a simple and healthy life so that people follow you as a role model. As the sangh prarthana says “susheelam” and “shakthi”, good character and health are the two main qualification required to become a a swayamsevak. Sacrifice all the bad habits for the greater cause of ours , lets live a happy and healthy life for creating a happy and healthy nation. So with great hopes and confidence I request all my brothers and sisters of every hindu organization to work with determination, if we do not work who else is going to? The goal we are to reach may take years to fulfill, may be we are just some stones or bricks used in the construction of a great palace, we should be strong enough to support the coming generation to built on us.
So ending this post with the words of swami vivekananda : do not be frightened by the barking of puppiesn nor by the thunderbolts of heaven,arise awake and stop not until you reach the goal.

Yesterday yugachethana of which am a member, organized a function to felicitate the students who passed the sslc and plus two. Today we have a meeting to discuss its next course of action and I decided to write on how I see yugachethana and what can it do to inspire young people to be patriotic and ever proud of the culture they belong to.
Yugachethana is an organization which started its existence in goshripuram (kochi) even before the oldest member of the present committee was born. Its an org which is inspired from rashtriya swayamsevak sangh (RSS) and its main mission is to reach the youngsters the idea of rss, essentially its hindutva and the unification of the HINDU community under the dwaja of PATRIOTISM. Yugachethana to be frank sufferd from the lack of working force at times but never buried itself in the tide of time, it exist today also with dreams of a young hindutva mission. Taking inspiration from the past, learning from the failures we had at times , using the modern technology I sincerely want this organization of ours to reach every youngsters who comes under its area of functioning.
I have read that veer savarkar, the nationalist and a great freedom fighter had called for a hinduisation of everything, politics, military etc.. Anything Indian is essentially hindu, believe every proud indian islam and Christian is a hindu. As far as we are concerned we should hinduise the student community as a whole. By hinduisation I mean making the students aware of their history, tradition and culture. We are the victims of the politics to be frank and the politics has interferd too much that what students are learning now is not history, but a twisted one which suits the interst of the powerful political parties. Politics has really been successful in dividing the hindu community in the basis of everything possible. Our aim is to re build a tree which has been cut down into pieces by this political selfish and greedy people. We have the logs of wood with each one of us and what we should do is to bring it all together and sail the mighty ocean called time. Let the mission start now. We all have been conducting various stage functions till now, my idea is to change this idea a little, what ultimately we want is to reach the students. If we go to them, or they come to us the connection is two way. We have a school managed by our temple here, lets talk with the management and start conducting competitions like essay writing, quiz competition, etc. the topics on essays and quizzes we should select which will make them learn about our history and national heros. We can even collaborate our working with the social science club or arts club of the school(s) and hence the frequency of getting connected with students can be increased. As the chief guest of yesterdays function sri ganeshji said quoting swami Vivekananda that how much educated a person is, and if the education and values he gained does not contribute to the growth of nation, then such an education is just creating traitors. So getting inspired from His words lets start the process : lets create the desh bhakthas.
We are not here for the mere existence of this organization of ours, in other words we should broaden our vision and should say we are here to ensure the existence of our age old traditions and values, we are the soldiers of this motherland, bharatmata. As the great nationalist poet sri bankim Chandra chatterji had said in our national song vande mataram, koti koti kanttha kalakalninada karale koti koti bujairdritha kara kara vale , we should realize each one of us are the one who always speak for the loving motherland of ours, and each one of us are the ones who have always have the swords to act against the anti nationals and anti hindus, we should not forget the duties we have to this great mother of ours and should act as she need our service during these tough times. My BaBRI questions !
The hindutva which preach 'let the noble thoughts come from every side' is under attack from everyside.. we have islamic jihadis to fight on east,there are western evangelist who sell wrong products in our good country. When secular terrorist attack us with their big mouths of hatred towards us,we also have some so called pro hindu party which amend hindutva in weird ways to get into power , we have naxels who kill and exploit the poor, we have regional parties which divide us on the basis of language, also we have cunning politicians who divides us into castes.. The worse of all the above said attacks on hindutva is the HINDUS themselves..
The sleeping man can be woken up, but what about them who pretends to? Never! Many Hindus falls in this category..This post is an little attempt to make them rise up with us..
Here i'm asking some simple questions about big controversies, and challenging those sleeping hindus to give me explanation for their sleep..
Babri 'masjid' - demolition
I was only five year old when this incident took place.. But this is what i could read from the books and newschannels. On dec 6,92 a disputed structure was demolished by a large group of hindus (karsevaks). After a few days that disputed structure was named as babri masjid.
My questions
1. its a fact that no namaz was happening there for a long time. Then how its a masjid?
2.Lord rama 's idol was inside that structure and it was taken to a safe place by karsevaks..How come an idol inside a masjid? Is it acceptable to people who call us kafirs?
3.As far as i know neither babar nor any islamic preacher was born in ayodhya.Then why its important for muslims to have a masjid in ayodhya?
4. Muslims do not believe in idols nor any particular geographical location for worship nor they give importance to material representation of their god. Then how come demolition of this structure is an insult to them?
5. As far as hindus r concerned, sri rama as said by maharshi valmeeki was born in ayodhya. So We need a temple there. Why did not muslims offer us a temple during their talks with hindu groups when we offered them a masjid constructed by us in some other place..?
6. Its a historical fact that many temples are either been demolished or converted to masjids during islamic mughal rule? Compared to the number of temples they demolished, this one demolition of one structure by hindus is not so important one. Then why mess up things?
7. Forget about history, see the present situation in pakistan, muslims are themselve demolishing their own places of worship using bombs, and that too when people are praying inside! (Remember babri demolition took place when there was no worship taking place in that structure for years). So if muslims can bomb hundreds of populated mosques in an islamic country , what is the big deal when hindus broke down a empty unused mosque!?
8. Our secular terrorists has succeeded in making muslims remember the date dec 6 more than their own birth dates and thus produced anti nationals and anti hindus! Why did they do so? Smell the agenda..
9. Some weird arguements by secular terrorists is a fun to hear. All the jihadi terror activities are defended using one word 'babri masjid.'. May i ask: are we so great to provoke bin ladens and co for a world wide terror organisation?
10. If somebody knows answers to above my question,let me think about counter question. If you do not have, pls do not chant babri babri from now on, chant ram ram.. So do you've answers?

HiNDU terror- an oxymoron
This week born with a happy news we were waiting for,though it was obvious we wanted to hear it,not with anxieties,but with patience, ajmal kasab, the 22yr old pakistani jihadi and islamic fundamentalist is found guilty in 26/11 barbaric attacks.All the patriotic indians must've felt the same happiness that i felt when they heard the news that i also heard. We all are waiting for tomoros news about the punishment kasab is going to it,of course nothing less than death sentence.
All secular and sickular Media reported this news with great spirit,sickular media stressed on the terms "pakistani terrorist' some even said 'jihadi', but nobody said kasab 'islamic fundamentalist'. Ya i can understand the emotions and dedication of sirs and madams of sickular media industry to 15cr people of this country,and i would even say they did a great job by not calling him by associating his name with the religion he belongs to, because that will do harm to sentiments of the followers of same religion which that terrorist who terrorised the whole nation on 26/11 belong to.It was a great move by media.Has to agree..

I've seen people filing anticipatory bail application in court, when they know they'l be charged for their crimes.A similar act, i saw From last friday some news was repeatedly shown by some news channels,linking abhinav bharat and some hindu groups with the small blasts that happened in rajastan and mumbai. Small or large blasts are indeed anti national,whether hindus do it or muslims do it,both are punishable under same law.This is not the first time that such a news is appearing in main stream media,two yrs earlier sadvi pragya and col purohit were arrested for alleged bombing in malegaon. I do not know whether they did it or not,but till now no judgement have been pronounced against them and no developments are seen in their case, they are tried under mcoca,a law like pota, and remember this law was not even used against the co accused of ajmal kasab. No human rights are barking for the sadvi's rights,no women organisation who shouted for the right of pub going half nude girls did not even consider the violation of rights of this sadvi. Why only because she wore saffron?Who will answer these questions!?! I'm ashamed also about the party which came to power once with the support of hindus because of its hindutva ideology is not speaking a word against this injustice. Also worried about the party whose senior member went to visit the jihadi terrorists family in delhi and announced that the encounter was fake,and insulted the inspector who died during that encounter, he too never came near jail in mumbai that sadvi is put for more than two years..
Let me come back to anticipatory bail topic,knowing that kasab will be pronounced guilty on monday some channels started or made or modified some news that hindus have also terrorists. They started to highlight the term called HINDU TERROR,started debates with secular panelists and islamic scholars and among themselves.It has become a habit of these news channels to project hindus and hindu groups as terrorists whenever a jihadi is captured alive or dead,and whenever his case is discussed in the court, they simultaneously hold discussions on hindu side of terror.Is this an attempt to show that they are secular? Fools will only say yes!!!
Hindu Terror is an oxymoron! Such a term cannot exist! No hindu can be extremists, we do not have sanction of our religious texts to hate any religion,on the contorary we say every religion is true.. We are the group of people who always welcomed people from other places and helped them to flourish their philosophies here.. How can they call us terrorists?
Even if some hindu does any anti national activity,how dare the media call him hindu terrorist? Calling some one terrorist is one thing and associating his religion with his acts is a grave mistake.. Has this media ever called afzal guru or kasab or osama or lakhvi or any one a ISLAMIC FUNDAMENTALIST? Never-!these people have killed lakhs of non muslims calling them kafirs and they continu to do so even in this century!! They have demolished innumerable temples in our lands saying its against their Holy text koran!! When such a barbarian group of people exist even today, these media calls HINDUS As terrorists? What have HiNDUS done compared to these animals have done!?!
Shame on HiNDUS for allowing these media to call us terrorists? In a country overwhelmed with people who fill the religion column in forms as hindu,a small group of media people with mysterious agenda against india as a nation are successfull or brave enough to postfix our religious identity with the term terrorism? Shame on us! Shame on people who support these anti hindus!!

These two magical words was inspiration to many of our freedom fighters, it were the last words of the patriots who were killed by the british for speaking for our motherland. Vande Mataram means 'we bow to thee,motherland'.. Many interpretation have been put forward by various secular nationalists,like it onlY Means salutation,respect,and hence its not against dogmas of certain religion etc... But i'm of the view that it means 'bow' and it ask us to bow to our motherland as we bow to the almighty.. Where is the problem? Those who aspire for tickets to heaven from the unseen god should hear these words from lord rama:janani janmabhoomishcha swargathapi gariyasi.I love my mother and motherland greater than heaven.Every hindu should echo these words thru their behaviour and dedication towards our motherland...All the religions are secondary to the religion called patriotism.The unseen god is not above our motherland.So lets all sing together

My Little attempt to define the song..
We have two mothers, one who protected us for nine months and took care of us till we grew up,the other mother who protects,take care of us since our birth to till our death or beyond..She bears all the insult we do to her,loves us always,loves us very much, more than our mother,we live in her,die in her,she live for us and we should live for her..This mother is called Bharatmata. All the patriotic people should keep his religion and his personal matters away for the cause of her,our beloved mother,bharatmata..
So lets bow to her,live for her,love her,respect her,make sacrifice for her..Vande means all the above.
Sujalaam
our bharat is blessed with many water sources,ganga,yamuna being the main among them.Every proud hindu consider these rivers not as mere water bodies but as river goddess.Every poojas start wit invoking these rivers. So our culture and tradition as given so much importance to them and so has sri bankim chandra chatterji has started the song by invoking them first. He wish 'sujalam' means let our water sources be always pure so that our culture and tradition remain sanathan. All hindus consider this river as divine, but its time to introspect are we doing justice to these divine things. Ganga and many rivers suffers from pollution by industries and common people do harm the river by throwing plastic wastes etc to them.Half burnt dead bodies are being thrown to these rivers siting tradition,which of course causes nuissance to the pilgrims.Govt has to take steps to stop this pollution, not only govt each hindu organisation should consider this a serious issue and act on it. Many organisations have already started doing their duty towards these rivers and i thank them from the bottom of my heart..

The climatic change is the hot subject which is discussed widely today. Many scientists suggest many things. But the poet who lived more than hundred yrs ago, wished this country be always fruit producing and green with plants and trees..
He identified that the material prosperity of a nation is secondary to the natural wealth it has. He wanted to see our country produce its own food, from agriculture.He wishes our motherland has the colour green,filled with enough trees and plants,so that we could live freely and healthy among them.Deforestation is happening widely in the name of development. Its time to pay ears to the poet who urges us to start reforestation..
In the following stanzas the poet has described the beauty of a green bharat.Its remarkable that the poet described the natural strength of bharat in his first two stanzas. It simply takes us to think of nature first, the vision of a green earth,has been put forward by this great poet that too hundreds of years ago..

these lines represent us, the people who always speak of their mother land,who love mother land from the bottom of their hearts,who work for their brothers and sisters of this land,the poet describes that our voices accumulate and produce kala kala effect. He also say there are crores of hands which are ready with swords to attack the enemies of this country..And with a people in these numbers, who can call our bharat is weak! The patriot say 'never! our bharat mata is never weak when we have patriotic hearts beating for it.. '.
These lines are in support of these people who love our nation truly,and also these lines are against those people who live in bharat and love the other countries..These lines are against anti hindus who always bark against anything that is hindu.. These lines are also applicable for hindus who sacrifice the interest of our nation for their selfish needs..These are secular lines. Those who love the nation has the support of the poet, and he's damn against the anti nationals and anti hindus...

you are the durga ma,lakshmi ma, and saraswathi ma, who gives us strength, wealth and knowledge. These three devis are nothing but manifestation of thee in three forms. In other words poet want this country to acquire the latest defence technology to protect the territories,he want to be as mighty as the mightiest.. He wants the country to materially prosper,he wants to crush the poverty, he wants all the citizens to live without hunger and fear, the poet wishes our education system to educate every one in this country,he wants the children know the roots, our real history and heritage... Strength , wealth and education are the 3 basic qualities of a developed country..The poet wishes our bharat to be a developed nation, developed in all ways, so as the other countries are jealous of us..
So our duty is to propagate the vision for our bharat put forward by sri bankim chandra chatterji. So lets all work together for this great nation of ours..
